Fortnite: June 2024 Crew Membership Guide (2024)

With the start of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, June 2024 is set to be an excellent month for members of the Fortnite Crew. This month, subscribers will receive Jing, a stylish outfit with some themed cosmetics. With the start of a new season, subscribers benefit even more from perks such as premium Battle Pass access and free V-Bucks.

May 2024's Fortnite Crew Pack featuring Spirit Hunter Saeko remains available until 8 PM EDT on May 31st, when June 2024's Fortnite Crew Pack will replace it. Crew Packs always feature an exclusive Outfit with at least one matching accessory and a wide range of other perks. However, at $11.99 (£9.99, €9.99) a month, players need to carefully consider whether it's worth the price.

Everything Subscribers Can Get

According to Fortnite on X, the June 2024 Fortnite Crew Pack will feature Jing as part of the new Operatic Vengeance Set. Jing has never appeared in Fortnite and cannot currently be found on the island, unlike other Crew Pack characters, who sometimes appear as interactable NPCs.

According to Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey on X, June 2024's Fortnite Crew Pack will also feature Crew Legacy Styles, a trend that began with the Crew Pack released in October 2023. As shown above, the Jing Outfit comes with five alternate Styles that unlock for each additional month players maintain their subscriptions:

• Operatic Legacy Jing for staying subscribed for a total of two months.
• Auric Legacy Jing for staying subscribed for a total of three months.
• Phase Legacy Jing for staying subscribed for a total of four months.
• Rimebound Legacy Jing for staying subscribed for a total of five months.
• Cosmic Legacy Jing for staying subscribed for a total of six months.

This incentivizes subscribers to maintain subscriptions for longer than a month rather than subscribing to grab specific Outfits and perks. Anyone with a subscription from before June 2024 can also expect to receive Crew Legacy Styles for past Outfits, including:

• Styxhacker's Legacy Saeko (May 2024)
• Auric Legacy Ares (April 2024)
• Phase Legacy Kat (March 2024)
• Rimebound Legacy Lana Llane (February 2024)
• Cosmic Legacy Silas Hesk (January 2024)

Additionally, players can also expect at least one matching accessory for Jing. Further leaks from iFireMonkey on X suggest players will receive a Pickaxe and Back Bling for Jing, although neither has officially been confirmed.

Finally, the Jing Outfit also comes with a LEGO minifigure version for LEGO Fortnite, so players can use the Outfit when building their LEGO Fortnite Rebel Village Outposts and enjoying other adventures in that mode. However, before subscribing, players should also consider the other perks and benefits.

Every Benefit This Month

All Fortnite Crew Packs grant access to the premium rewards track of the current Battle Pass.

As such, the June 2024 Crew Pack will likely appeal to more players as Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked has just begun, introducing a brand-new Battle Pass with dozens of cosmetic rewards for players to claim. Highlights include an Outfit and cosmetics based on the T-60 Power Armor from Fallout, Wasteland Magneto from X-Men, and several other original Fortnite characters.

Many dedicated players will want premium Battle Pass access at the start of the new season so that a Crew subscription may be more appealing. While a subscription costs slightly more than a pack of 1,000 V-Bucks ($8.99), players receive additional rewards that cover the difference in value.

This includes an extra 1,000 V-Bucks in the Fortnite Item Shop, allowing subscribers to purchase or save up for additional premium cosmetics.Fortnite features many major and minor crossovers with other franchises across the pop culture landscape, and many of the best cosmetics appear only in the Item Shop. As such, subscribing offers an arguably wallet-friendly alternative to paying for additional packs of V-Bucks.

Finally, subscribers also receive Rocket Pass Premium for the car soccer game Rocket League. Rocket Pass Premium is essentially Rocket League's version of a Battle Pass, featuring cosmetic content such as season-exclusive car bodies, paints, titles, accessories, and fun effects such as Goal Explosions and Trails. As such, anyone who plays Fortnite and Rocket League gets two premium passes for a comparatively lower price.

Is It Worth Subbing?

The start of new seasons in Fortnite and Rocket League makes subscribing in June 2024 more compelling for anyone who wants to claim premium cosmetics and V-Bucks.

However, whether to subscribe based on the monthly Outfit is ultimately up to players' taste. Additionally, although the Crew Pack perks can be helpful to, players should consider whether they're truly needed.

A Fortnite Crew subscription is generally only recommended for dedicated players who regularly play matches, complete quests, and make frequent purchases from the in-game Item Shop.
